ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Ronnell. And for the people who know me, they know that I love the Philippines very much and I am not really one who rants and complains to high heavens about what is happening to our country and does nothing about it.

Yet, after seeing how events in our nation had transpired the past years and after talking to some friends, I feel the urge to share with you my own thoughts and feelings here.

Bohol (Bojol) Philippines - The 2nd time around

Bohol PhilippinesWhat has changed since my last visit, year 2005?

Nothing! Only this time you can now round bohol with a magic broom stick. Only P500/day. Lols.. Just kiddin.

Seriously? I don't see much difference back then except for a huge increase of fees in every tourist spots. Ouch.. ( Am I the only one affected by the global economy crisis here?)

Anyway, our journey was supposedly a 1 day Round Bohol Tour but ended like a Half-Bohol excursion. Too bad time is not on our side.

Our trip started 6 AM @ Pier 1. This time I am traveling with a bunch of staff from Timex Philippines and I made it NOT be left behind like what had happened before. hehehe.. We bought in advance a round trip ticket from Ocean Jet which currently offers a promo P300 each, Cebu - Tagbilaran, Bohol.

Yet we arrived in Tagbilaran 8:00 AM. Saddened because one would expect that traveling with Ocean Jet is a lot faster compared to a normal ferry. They even made a joke out of it to change their name to "Ocean Jetlag". Hahaha..

Anyway, we rented a Aircon Bus from HAFTi for P350/each good for 30 seats. It so happen that the bus driver is kinda bit old and has very passive style of driving. However, we do understand that his primary duty is the safety of his passenger. Once again time is not on our side.

To make the story short, we only visited Blood Compact Site, Chocolate Hills in Carmen, Man Made Forest, Hanging Bridge, Tarsier & Loboc River, Museu de Loboc, Souvenir Shop, and Hinagdanan Cave due to time constraint and eventhough we haven't visited some tourist attraction like Sagbayan Peak, Python Snake, and Baclayon Church, everyone was full of excitement and thrill. This is what only matters to me anyway.
