ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Ronnell. And for the people who know me, they know that I love the Philippines very much and I am not really one who rants and complains to high heavens about what is happening to our country and does nothing about it.

Yet, after seeing how events in our nation had transpired the past years and after talking to some friends, I feel the urge to share with you my own thoughts and feelings here.

Sto. Niño de Cebu

Sto. Nino CebuSto. Nino ImageAs I have mentioned on my Magellan's Cross page, me & my friend Ryan took had a quick visit on Sto. Church since it was just adjacent to the Cross. But this time, I did my research the night before our tour. At least!... I didn't have to listen the un-ending lectures of his.

As a recap, Santo Niño de Cebu literally means "Holy Child of Cebu." For centuries Santo Nino served as the patron saint of Cebu, and continues to be celebrated as the primary festival - Sinulog. The statue is the oldest relic in the Philippines, and it is located at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño.

It was Sunday when we had our visit but I am glad the mass didn't started yet and got the chance to take some pictures. [Click Image to enlarge.]
